MR EcoSMART Hydrogen & Diesel multiple unit (HDMU) operating with Low or ZERO carbon fuels

Our Innovative low, medium and Semi High-speed Train technology running H2 packages perfectly within Hydrogen Diesel Multiple units (HDMU) for dual fuel application as transition technology as Low carbon application with upto 80% diesel will be replaced with Hydrogen. 20% Diesel will be replaced with Bi0-Diesel made from edible oil (used cooking) and Nonedible oil.

In case of Hydrogen unavailability, complete Trains can run on conventional Diesel fuel. Optional pantograph or third rail collector can be provided for utilization of existing train electrification.

A hydrogen storage facility equipped with tanks containing compressed hydrogen can store the necessary energy to replace 3 tons of diesel, thereby saving 10 tonnes of CO2.

The storage facilities can be easily exchanged at the final station for a full one. Using a compressor, the tanks can be directly refilled within short time.

Even Indian railway existing standard MMTS trains, DMUs & EMUs, Diesel & Electric Locomotives can be converted to these duel fuel Hydrogen Engine powered trains.

Note: We can also provide Hydrogen Battery Multiple Units (HBMU) for pure Hydrogen as fuel and Battery bank for range extender and fuel optimisation purpose in future.

 Indian Railway Modernization and Digitalization Programme (IR-M&DP)

IR-M&D programme is a zonal wide programme designed to benefit India economy through more effective train operation, more trains with increased line capacity. Better customer experience with improved reliability, and Safer& Secure journeys. More trains with well organised connections for timely arrivals and departures. Ultimately leading to environmentally friendly railway by reducing fuel & energy consumptions of existing upgraded & new modernised trains. Below are economic benefits of IR-M&D programme.

Existing IR network upgradation Digitalization programme

in terms of route capacity up to 40% by ensuring Safety & Reliability of each and every Journey. Also, significant increase in Availability of existing IR network and drastic reduction in Operation & Maintenance expenditure in 17 Zones of Indian Railway into Intercity- Long distance route & Regional-Short distance routes

Suburban commuter routes:

    1. Control, Command & Signalling (CCS)- Technical Segments
      • iRailTMS + ITCS + iDAS + iGTC (CENELEC – EN 50159 Railway applications – Communication, signalling and processing systems – Safety-related communication in transmission systems )
      • GNSS Inertial Sensor Unit: NAVIC unencrypted Standard Positioning Service (SPS) with an accuracy of less than 10 meters for all users, The GPS-aided GEO augmented navigation (GAGAN) + Rollingstock maintenance functions
